+These fabulous genuine antique Victorian long Suffragette earrings are Circa 1900.
Set in 18ct Yellow Gold.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking!
Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
Each earring is set with a green Peridot, a creamy Pearl and a beautiful violet Cabochon Amethyst.
All set in 18ct Yellow Gold and fitted with Gold shepherd hook wires.
A colourful pair of earrings that are eye catching dangling from the ear.
The Cabochon Amethysts are slightly different sizes.
Steeped in Victorian history.
